Due to the overwhelming response to our free hosting service, and in anticipation of needing more space and processing power, we have moved to a larger server. The new server has dual Xeon processors (8 more powerful cores in all as opposed to the 4 that we had on the previous server), twice the RAM (16GB vs. 8GB) and more disk space as well.
For most of you this will entail minimal change if any. Your files have been moved through an automated process which has been completed. All requests to the old server are being automatically forwarded to the new server by the old server. If you are using a free subdomain, them you needn't do anything in terms of DNS. If you are using your own domain, please change your nameservers to:
ns1.mercury.jlkhosting.com
ns2.mercury.jlkhosting.com
If you registered your domain through us I have already taken care of this detail for you.
Domain resolution will still take place if you don't change your nameservers, but it will take a bit longer (probably on the order of milliseconds).
The server IP has changed so if you have been accessing cPanel using the IP based method, the new IP is 76.73.76.114 and so cPanel would be at http://76.73.76.114:2082/ . Your user name and password has not changed.
